Harriet Elizabeth Toops was born 18.Jan.1841 in Chillicothe, Ross, OH.  His/Her parents were Henry Toops and Mary Ann "Mitty" Darby.
((The nickname "Mitty" does not appear in any known documents other than family trees.  The fact that one of Harriet's daughters was named Sarah Mitty provides additional evidence.))

==== Marriage ====
On 24.Jan.1856, Harriet married John Benjamin Marshall.  The marriage took place in Fayette County, OH.  John Benjamin died in Jun. 1886.

On 18.Jan.1888, Harriet married David C. Eastburn.  The marriage took place in Watseka, Iroquois, IL.

==== Death ====
Harriet died at age 93 on 17.Aug.1934 in Ord Valley, NE.

Harriet and her second husband, David C. Eastburn, had no children together.  However, David had seven children from his first marriage to Anna Edith Webster (1848-1886).  Harriet became the stepmother of these children:
